When Should I Schedule a Session?
The more time in advance the better! If your photos will be used as a gift for a special occasion, we recommend that you schedule your session at least 6 weeks before the gift is needed. Sessions can be booked up to 2 months in advance. If a last minute date is needed, we will do our best to accommodate. You will be able to see your edited images approximately 1 1/2 weeks after your session. Optionally, we can schedule a viewing session where you will get to see your images for the first time. At an in-person session, you can decide which photos you would like.
Can I Film Behind The Scenes (BTS)?
Generally, behind the scenes (BTS) is allowed ONLY before and after the photo session. If you have questions, ask during your initial session discussion or before the session begins. After the session begins, if there's a shot during the session you want, then please request it from the photographer.
How Do I Pay for My Session?
Payment can be made using debit or credit card through your client portal or in-person using a credit card. When your booking is initiated, you will be sent a link to your client portal that has all the information about your photo session. Your booking fee is due immediately upon receipt to hold your date. The balance of your session is due upon image delivery.
What Types of Editing Are Included?
Any images that you purchase are edited with basic retouching included! Additional editing is subject to additional fees.
What Clothing Should I Wear?
We make the following recommendation for headshots, lifestyle and contemporary sessions. If you would like to schedule a consultation, please let us know. We can work with many hair stylists and makeup artists to achieve the look of the period you’re interested in.
Can I Bring a Friend or Significant Other?
Yes, but due to limited studio space there is a limit of 1 person.
Do You Offer Retouching?
Basic retouching is included with every session. We remove scars as requested, acne, and blemishes. For retouching pricing, request a quote.
What Should I Bring To My Session?
We will have a consultation call or email prior to your session to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. During the call, we will provide you with suggestions on things to bring to your session and a few days before the session, a reminder will be sent along with any final instructions. Do You Provide Hair and Makeup?
Yes, we do offer addons that include makeup and/or hair by a professional makeup artist at an additional charge. Getting your makeup and hair done in style sets the tone for your session and results in exceptional image quality. It gives you time to relax, get to know us better and to feel pampered. But more importantly, a professional knows how to do camera-ready makeup that will truly make you feel special! Makeup artists and hair stylists know the many secrets of making you look your best.
Images are NEVER shared anywhere without your permission. On rare occasions we may ask if we can share a photo on our website or on social media. It would be your decision. There is NO requirement to share images in order to book a session.
